Industrial Engineer - Automation
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Industrial Engineer specializing in Automation to join our dynamic team. This role involves automating the manufacturing process of parts on milling and turn-milling machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing concepts and interfaces for machine automation, focusing particularly on the automatic loading and unloading of parts, potentially using robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation of Manufacturing Processes: Implement automation in the manufacturing of parts on milling and turn-milling machines, with a primary focus on the automated loading and unloading of parts.
- Concept Development: Develop and refine concepts for machine automation, including the interfaces with the machine itself, the parts handling system, and the storage system.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions with suppliers and act as the primary architect for automation projects.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of micro-controllers and PLCs, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of communication systems used in industrial automation.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Automation, Electro-Mechanics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial automation, particularly in manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical knowledge in the fields of micro-controllers, PLCs, and communication systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex technical projects.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
