Model Based Controls Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Model Based Controls Design Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building up mathematical models in parallel with the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical design of complete machines or complex subsystems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for modeling, controls science, and the pursuit of new methods and technologies in fast-paced and complex automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Development: Create mathematical models that align with the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical designs of machines or subsystems.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely within the development team, maintaining strong communication with designers and calculation engineers.
- Controls Team Leadership: Build and lead a controls team focused on simulations, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and lab testing.
- Innovation and Technology: Show a keen interest in new methods and technologies related to modeling and controls.
- Project Engagement: Engage enthusiastically in fast-paced and complex automation projects, contributing innovative solutions and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanics, Automation, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in modeling and control systems design.
- Strong knowledge of simulations, HIL, SIL, and lab testing.
- Passion for innovation and new technologies in automation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
